Mary Surratt House

Built in 1852, served as post office and tavern. Mary Surratt was implicated in Lincoln assassination, hanged. Under easement with MHT. Host bi-annual John Wilkes Booth Escape Route Tour.

  • Visitor Center & Tour Hours: 11 am-4 pm. Tours depart on the half hour. Last tour leaves at 4 pm.
  • Research Center hours by appointment only.
