Built in early 1900, this one-room black school was located on Route 6. Students from grades one thru seven attended this school. It was closed in 1952 when the black schools were consolidated with the Port Tobacco Schools. The building was purchased by Mitchell Diggs and moved to the Charles County Fairgrounds.
