The 10-acre property in Solomons that is now Spring Cove Marina first emerged as a marina in the mid-1960’s as “Ranch Club Marina #1” when the Chesapeake Ranch Estates were first being established in southern Calvert County. Over the next 30 years piers and buildings were added, a swimming pool built, and it eventually emerged as privately owned facility named Spring Cove Marina.
