Located on a Potomac River tributary this 628-acre park was home to Revolutionary War General William Smallwood, known as Smallwood’s Retreat. The park features a marina, boat launch, camping, tournament-level bass fishing, the Mattawoman Creek Art Center and the Sweden Point Discovery Center.
