Atlantic Kayak Company (AKC), a woman-owned business, has been providing fun, educational outdoor experiences in the Chesapeake Bay area since 1995. We share our passion for natural and cultural history with others through all of our programs! We have partnered with the Smithsonian Associates, Charles County Department of Recreation, Parks, and Tourism, Baltimore National Aquarium, NOAA, Atlas Obscura, and Potomac Riverkeepers. We were also featured on Amazon Prime’s Air, Water or Land. We value making first-timers and veterans alike feel comfortable in a kayak and we are always working to continue AKC’s goal of getting people out in nature, teaching them about their surroundings, and making sure they have fun.
