Destination Southern Maryland Executive Director Lucille Walker spoke as the keynote speaker at the Maryland Planning Commissioners Association 38th Annual Conference. The executive director discussed the Maryland Heritage Area program, the importance, relevance and value of heritage tourism in 2021, and the Southern Maryland Heritage Area and its national designation goal.
